On 31 May Okello published Uncaring Addis fuels Gambella’s cutthroat communal contest on Ethiopia Insight for the EIEP.
He is based in Abobo in Gambella and works on security issues for a non-governmental organization. He was a Gambella State Council candidate in Abobo for the Ethiopian Citizens for Social Justice Party.
In this episode, EIEP’s Tobias Hagmann speaks to Okello about his background and tries to get a further understanding of the situation on the ground.
