Kenaw is a former law lecturer at Bahir Dar University and a human rights researcher documenting serious human rights violations, particularly in western Oromia. His work focuses on transitional justice and accountability for mass violence. He holds an Advanced Master’s degree in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.
